On 23/12/2025, Regulation (EU) 2025/2650 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 19 December 2025, amending Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on deforestation (EUDR), was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
The new regulation introduces adjustments concerning certain obligations for downstream operators and traders and postpones the application date by one year.
